BE SAFE.
BE SMART.
BE KIND.
Our mission is to grow a movement where
kids inspire present and future generations
to be digitally responsible
THE INTERNET CAN BE A SCARY PLACE.
BUT IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE.
The Problem.
While technology can influence our children’s lives in many positive ways through education, social life and family life, we know there are dangers that come along with this. Cyberbullying, sexting, pornography and abduction are not where the problems start. They start when kids are not aware of their digital footprint and post content that jeopardizes their reputations and safety.
Removing our kids from technology is not the answer.
Our approach does not involve stripping the internet away or prompting invasive surveillance. We see how unrealistic these methods are. Rather, we encourage kids to use the web positively by instilling smart habits early on, so that forever-advancing technology doesn’t threaten a child’s school life, future career or emotional health.
Our secret weapon: the “Big Kids.”
Project B3 understands the best way to gain the ears of kids is to have their real-life heroes be the teachers: the “big kids.” We appoint a remarkable group of students who are impassioned to help teach the message of digital responsibility. Alongside our adult coordinators, these students lead children in activities and games to help them be safe, be smart and be kind while using the internet.

“Working with B3 tonight was an amazing experience! Teaching kids about internet safety is so important. I wish I’d had an opportunity to learn these things when I was younger!”
